TALGILT: Interactive Video Workshop

This is an experimental interactive video-workshop being held in Platform4's Rooftop (1. floor). It is open for everyone who registers in advance by sending an email to workshop host Ida Prag on idaprag@gmail.com. We hope to see a lot of you joining!

VIDEO WORKSHOP
This is an interaktive video workshop. We experiment with the relationship between video clips and living actors - and work with different forms of communication between humans and projected video footage, as well as with different ways to control and affect the material. We'll be using everything between infrared camera motion tracking to Wii remotes, midi keyboards, microphones and lots of other devices. We will furthermore try to keep the project as open-source based as possible by using freeware software and material that we already have on hand, to investige how it is possible to create an interesting artistic (and technically challenging) visual expression without having to rely on a sponsor.
If we manage to produce something interesting (which we are certain we will!) we'll be hosting a small public performance/screening (content and format still in the open) on Sunday July 11. Keep an eye on this article (and forthcoming blog) for more details!
